Hello all. I realise that this may be bordering on the annoying

But.... I want to perform the governer mod to my aaz but am afraid of cabbaging the pump in the process. I have quite a number of 1.6td pumps so i am wondering if i perform the mod to one of those pumps, can i then fit that 1.6 pump to the aaz if it turns out to be a success??? thanks guys
1,6 pump will fit to AAZ. You could have to change pump bracket and pulley.
Thanks for reply. Would the 1.6 pump be strong enough for the aaz??

Hallo,
when we wanted to fix a Jx (1,6 td in a 90th VW bus) pump at a AAZ engine, we founded out, that the bolt for the belt wheel is shorter than at a AAZ pump. The frontend of the AAZ-bracket was too thick. So It was neccesary to make it thinner (about 5mm) and the fixing holes were changed into oval long holes. So the whole pump was placed nearer to the belt and all belt-wheels were absolutely parallel.
