Mercedes nozzles in VW injectors, possible?
« on: March 26, 2007, 02:46:14 pm »
I know you can use the entire merc injector on a VW head and it'll be fine. Since Mercedes injectors are kinda expensive and getting hard to find I thought I'd ask about the nozzles. I can get a set of 4 for 80$.

Is it possible to use these nozzles in vw injector bodies? Does is make a difference if they are 1.9 or 1.6 injectors?

The merc nozzles will work in the vw inj bodies.I'm using them but with the amount of mods going into my engine its hard to tell whats doing what as I usually conastantly tunung. They do work better than the 1.6,1.9 or GTD's for that matter though. If you do a search on here using the keyword  "mercedes" you should come up with plenty good info on the topic.

Thanks a lot for the info. It's nice to get an answer from someone actually using this setup rather that some guy just speculating about it.

I'll buy those nozzles then, much cheaper than the whole injectors.
