main difference between N/A pump and Turbo is the fact that the turbo pump has an fuel enrichment device called the LDA.  it is boost sensitive, and increases fuel according to the amount of boost you are running.

just adding a turbo alone won't give you any extra power.  you COULD turn up the fuel, but your car will smoke pretty bad until the turbo kicks in.

I would recommend something like a K03 turbo for fast response.
