VNT-15 exhaust side housing

I've heard that some of the euro versions of the vnt 15 had a hot side that was not a part of the exhaust manifold, more like the typical looking turbo you would see.  Does anyone know if a euro hot side housing would fit on a US vnt-15?  With my current config the vnt-15 hits my starter.

I think I have seen some on e-bay. I bought a vnt-17 (gt1749) and the vnt-15 fits in it's housing, so I don't see why a Euro 15 would be any different.
