the pics are from last winter. i ripped off the half broken fender flare.

i bought a second mk2 without an engine but with a really good body. it has all the flares and skirts. but i still need the driver door trim. i put the lip on it.. i will take more recent pics sometime.

the two tone doesnt look so good at first.. but it really grew on me.

i'm thinking of sanding it down a bit and doing a full respray in either all white... or going with the exact same theme but maybe a pinstripe where the red and black meet. i'd  have to photoshop it to see how it would look

oh and SMOKEYDUB, i am one of those select few, but technically any standard diesel can do it.  As you can see i too have a smoking problem  :lol:

I hope you are going to spring for a limited slip diff!  Your car will be highly entertaining to see in operation.

Yeah, a Quaiffe is in the works, but not right away. I'm building a couple camera mounts for my cousin's car that I'll use for some interesting videos of this one.
