Talking to Giles, he says they should be lapped with some far finer than 1500 grit.
I'm hoping others chime in here... I've always gone up to 600 in the past and never had a problem. but a set I just built for someone else evidently is leaking... might be a fluke, or my torque wrench is wonky... or perhaps 600 *is* too coarse and I've just been lucky so far....Anyone else care to share their injector lapping standards

I'm hoping that Giles's standards are counsel for perfection and that somewhat lower standards can prove to be quite adequate and satisfactory. Perhaps others will share their expertise/experiences.
