Then you need the other metal line. The N/A metal line did not have the input, but the TD line did. I want to say german auto parts online has the new lines.

Yeah that is for the 2 hose kit, but ver expensive. I would go to the store and buy a copper T fitting and a couple hose clamps instead.

its not going to clear ANYTHING coming out of the distributor/vacuum pump drive hole.. it goes right over the top of it since the 16v doesnt have a dizzy or anything coming out of that port, just a plug.
a 16v coolant pipe will not work on an 8v engine of any kind. trust me, i tried this a while back, had to cut and weld pieces of 16v and 8v coolant pipes.. was adding a stock oil warmer to my GTI, and i figured the coolant pipe off my 92 GLI woulda worked. but it wasnt even close, so i cut 6" off the water pump end of it, and welded it on to my existing 8v coolant pipe.
so, try finding a coolant pipe off a GTI/GLI 8v, or a newer mk2. some cars had the warmer/cooler, and some didnt. all the 16v and turbo cars had them, along with all 8v GTI/GLI cars.. im talking gas and diesel cars. the coolant pipe is interchangeable.

must be old 16v pieces..
my 16vs have 2 different hoses, where that is a single hose..
those look more like factory TD coolant lines, not 16v..

Yea i would assume so too, but when i popped the hood i saw it and grabbed it, it was running the same oil cooler as i had also.
I thought i got lucky but I didn't see any other 16v's

That rear motor mount has the space needed to run the turbo oil drain to the pan by routing it through the middle.
Some folks complain when the oil drain runs right into the motor mount,.. when they have the wrong motor mount.
The drain is often run around the mount but some years ran it through the mount.

what cars are you talking about?
on transverse cars, the oil drain doesnt even come close to sitting behind the passenger side motor mount.. its more between the CV joint and the mount.. not directly behind the mount..
how could the line rub on the mount? my oil line is inches from the mount..

never seen a diesel with a oil drain that ran behind that mount. i have 2 proper TD mounts, and they are different, but theres no oil line that runs thru there.. ive looked, never seen a car that the line ran out of the turbo, then over to the engine mount, then back to the pan drain connection..
