Yeah basically I thought I paid all the website stuff last week, the whois gaurd and email fee's etc. Somehow I missed the actual domain name charge. And I guess some troll has the name now. Mark is taking care of the situation trying to get the old name back. If that doesnt work a new domain has been registered.
www.passengerdiesel.com. Either way something will be up in the next few days. Anyone who needs to buy something or has questions pm me.

I bought a engine and tranny for my old 911 about 3 years ago from a lady in Cleveland Texas.
Heres her address if anyone is in the area:
Jo Ann Lumpkin
152 East Fork Dr.
Cleveland,Texas 77328
Basically I sent her a money order and on june 24th (2003) she replied saying it had cleared her bank and the engine and tranny were ready to be shipped. On july 15th I find out that my money order to the shipping company had been stolen, so I had to come up with another $600 for a money order while I waited for my old money order to be canceled. I emailed her and told her of the situation. We corresponded back and forth and about half way through august I had some serious family issues come up (that situation was worse than this, so it was just a really bad summer) and I asked her if she would refund me the majority of the money as I had some bad stuff to deal with, she said no, the sale was final and I needed to take the engine. I emailed her back saying I would come up with another 600 for shipping and tkae the engine. At the end of August she emailed me saying that she had sold the engine and tranny to someone else, and that it was her right as she hadnt heard from me in a while, her atourney assured her this was legal.
So than I call the Cleveland PD and find out I can't press charges without being there myself, or having legal representation, so than I call some lawyers from the area to see what I can do, and they all basically said the same thing, it was gonan cost me as much money to get my money back as it was worth. So I would end up with nothing and maybe even be even further in the hole. And I havent had the time and money (at least not at the same time) to go down there myself and take care of the situation... Makes me sick every time I think about that situation, cause that was $6kCAD, and most of that came from working for $5/hr on farms as a kid, it was hard earned cash and I really wanted a 911, I got the car, but the engine deal made me want to kill myself.

Yeah, its dissapointing to say the least. Its too bad you can;t rationalize with these kind of people. Sure wouldn't feel bad taking people like this out.

Yeah, whats retarded is she said the sale was final, it was paid in full, so it was MY engine. So she sold something of mine without consent. But apparently theres not much I can do about it. If anyone knows law better and can help out I sure would appreciate it.
Her lungs would net you a set of manifolds and maybe some other goodies
lol... what a dirty b*tch
Technically speaking if you've paid for the engine in full, it becomes your property. If she gives you no notice that you must pickup your property or you forfeit it, or no attempt to contact you forehand, she has no legal recourse to re-sell the item, but still should refund your money.
How do you take someone like that to court though? Grrr... go all the way down there to their small claims system? How did you pay? I think you should contact hmmm... RCMP police... interpol should be able to charge that lady pretty good man. If you have receipts of payment, and maybe something in writing, you have a good case. Whats she gonna say?? police will laugh
"he payed $6000 for it, then didn't talk to me for 2 weeks, so I sold it to someone willing to pay more for it. the sale was final"
lol... if the sale was final ***, then that means whoever you sold it to owns it, and thats final. stupid stupid stupid... where do people get their brains from???
935 racer I work for the police in Durham... If you want I'll contact someone who can give more info on how to go about it, but I know its possible ($6000 isn't just chump change... or at least I hope it isn't!!! lol)

www.passengerdiesel.com Remember, Dave's new email address is
, not
.
I temporarily disabled the website's payment system - need to wait until Dave updates his PayPal account to include his new email address.
The website will have a new look in the near future.
And BTW although I heard of the texas scam before, I didn't hear the full details until now.. wow.. I feel for you dude
