I'm considering installing a Mazda intercooler into my 1980 Audi 5000. It looks like it will fit in the space in front of the AC condensor (which is in front of the main radiator). However the inlet and outlet of the mazda intercooler is 1 5/8 inch ID. Thsi is the same as the inner diameter of the turbocharger. Will this slow the flow of air too much, even if I use 2" tubing berween the IC turbo and intake manifold?
