We have a 3 and a 4 axis Cnc mill as well as a Cnc lathe with live tooling which probly won't help much on this project. I'm gonna play with it over a long period of time, I am thinkin of totally different porting to increase flow with custom manifolds. As long as I get oil to the places that need it and some volume of coolant through it I am happy. I don't think cooling will be much of an issue if the system I efficient enough.

They can, just not in steel. Right now just plastic. My brother is thinking of buying one of those machines.

Stainless is $8/cm3

Print one in plastic for the hell of it. My friend told me about this the other day couldn't believe it was real.  :o

Print one in wax, then make an investment casting from any commonly available foundry alloy.

A plastic printed AR15 can fire 600+ rounds, I bet we can idle for a minute with a plastic head.

Huh. The one I saw fired 6 rounds and snapped in half.

Defense distributed has  youtube video of the new improved one, the guy looks like his hand is  getting pretty tired around 400 rounds.
