what can I use?

Need some ideas on substitutions for the following items:

1.9 IDI valve cover
1.9 IDI intake manifold

also does anyone have a 155 bar turbo injector they would want to sell to me?  Have three, need one more.

this is totally a hunch but i think other older 8v stuff will bolt up...might try parts from a 1.6TD to see if the bolt holes match..... i think they do.

The 8v 1.8 gasser that I took out of my car appeared to have the same valve cover as the 1.6IDI.  And the exhaust and intake manifolds bolted right up (of course the intake was different so I used the diesel manifold)

Hope this helps somewhat.

thanks for the replies so far.  the 1.9 IDI cylinder head has an interesting valve cover that I haven't seen anywhere else.  There are three or four raised threaded rods that extend out of the endcaps and go through the top of the valve cover.  Nuts are then threaded down onto these rods to hold the valve cover in place.  The 1.6 IDI head is different, the valve cover is bolted down with 10mm bolts that go into the cylinder head, I believe there are around 10 of them.  As far as the intake manifolds go, I am looking for one with "D" shaped ports as the 1.9 IDI head has these.

the bolt holes do match....but the ports on the 1.6TD intake are "O" shaped, and those on the 1.9 head are "D" shaped.

I dont think you'll find any other valve cover for a 1.9 IDI. Only other choice would be to have one CNC milled.

might have to buy one new then.  there don't seem to be any 1.9 IDIs in the scrap yards around here.  they are rare cars it seems.
