$250 shipped!T304 sanitary stainless 3 inch downpipe with stainless v-band.  Made for a mk2 1.9td but may fit 1.6/1.5 mk1,mk3 also for T3, K24, K14 flanges.  Stainless flange also.  It is for sale on vortex also but I would like it to go to someone on this site so let me know if the price is okay.  Heavy duty clamp, not the lame thin ones.

Who doesn't love stainless? :)  It would probably be very close and could be made to work!

no, not even close.. you would have to hack it all up to make a downpipe from a mk2 fit on a mk1.. its all about where the steering rack is..

2 downpipe on a mk1 = downpipe hitting the rack so bad that it cant be bolted up..
92 Jetta GLI - Black, 1.6D w/ GT2056V turbo..
86 GTI - 4 Door, Med Twilight Gray, Tow Machine..
86 Audi Coupe GT - Tornado Red, All Stock.. WRECKED.
89 Toyota 4Runner - Dark Grey Metallic, LIFTED!

Turbo: exhaust gasses go into the turbocharger and spin it, witchcraft happens and you go faster.

This is shorter than you think and probably spits out close to the rack anyway.  It just barely tucks under my mk2 and should allow you to add to it to clear whatever is in the way.  Better safe than sorry, though.  Anything can be added to it as long as it gets it pointed down past the turbo without hitting the shift linkage or heater lines.

its still shaped wrong to fit on an mk1..

like i said, you could make it fit, but you would have to cut it, and re-weld it.

i didnt say it couldnt be done. because it can be done quite easily, to a skilled fabricator/welder..

nice piece by the way!

Thanks for advice on the mk1 setup, I wish they were all universal.
