Well great glad to hear you all like pre turbo. Might just be figuring me up how to mount the nozzle pre-turbo on the damn rubber inlet pipe...

cut the rubber inlet pipe, get a chunk of aluminum pipe with a thick enough wall, drill and tap a hole in the pipe for the nozzle, then clamp the chunk of aluminum pipe in your rubber intake tube..

yeah and you're not going to be blowing meth through it constantly assuming this is not a all out race car

also a neat idea is to have a check valve that only opens at say 5psi, and use boost pressure to push the water in to the turbo

If i do that R.O.R i would have to get a nozzle that is bent at a 90. The one in that kit is just a straight nozzle i think.
No Trev0rbr deff. not going to be a full blown race car! lol i wish tho

I have always liked this idea. Done pre-turbo, it's an elegant solution to the problem of pressurizing the water/meth.

yep, and im sure 1-30psi will move plenty of water, plus u get the awesome effect of more water proportional to boost

Hell if im going to do pre-turbo i can make my own kit, Using a low pressure pump like a windshild washer pump and a boost switch along with a valve to limit the amount of water being tossed in the engine. Along with a copper hose right in front of the compressor as my injector

I just did a little testing last week, trying to make a low budget water/meth system with the stock vw washer tank/pump and a mister nozzle from lowes.
All I could get was a small stream with the stock washer pump. Same results when I sprayed through a nitrous nozzle with a very small jet. Most definitely need a pump that puts out more pressure.
The same mister works great on my home water pressure of about 45 psi and puts out a very fine mist. I really have my doubts about using turbo pressure to pressurize a reservoir to feed the mister nozzle.
I believe you would only get a stream instead of a mist until the pressure came up to 20-30 psi, which is double the boost I'm running.

Are you worried about a lack of flow or lack of atomization?
If you're injecting pre turbo, the water has tons of time to atomize... particularly if you're running an intercooler as well, which I'm sure most people would. The only thing I'd be worried about is spraying large volumes of cold water at a hot turbo housing, although the likelihood of damage is probably quite small anyway
Just throwing that out there

Atomization would be my first concern, followed by the mist forming droplets if injected too far away from the intake.
I like the idea of individual nozzles on each intake port. (big pain in the a$$ though) Also Methanol is highly corrosive, but who knows how long it would take to damage
turbo, inter-cooler/intake piping, with a 50/50 mix. I did experiment with methanol as primary fuel on my drag car last summer. The intake was ice cold at a idle and took forever to get to operating temp.
