i just dont see how josh can make power than nobody else has safely done..
usually much over 200hp from a 1.6, and you are god.. much more than 250 or more, and you are playing with fire..
I think because he has good manifolds that flOw well with a ported head, a good sized turbo that's not blowing out hot air or corking up the exhaust and most of the big power is above 3500-4000, and a 10mm Giles pump woot woot. I wonder if an 11 or 12 would help
an Ebay T3 manifold is not something i consider to flow well.. ive got one as well.. i think its a JOKE.
my manifolds flow as good or better than joshes.. (tubular turbo header, and dual plenum stock TD)
his power is so high because he has a 300D turbo.. he said it himself that he doesnt like how late the turbo spools..
when his truck is sitting idling, you can not hear a SPEC of turbo scream.. the turbo doesnt even come alive until he throttles it up.
im thinking thats why he builds all his power above 4000 revs..
how many of you guys have actually seen Joshes truck? its a real fuggin sleeper.. completely stock looking, clear down to the OEM VW alloy wheels.. i believe he has tarantulas on it, right josh?
i still love your truck, i just think you should install your VNT that you have been playing around with..
(BTW, im still happy as hell that i bought the 2056 from you.. just gotta get it working right. i had it working good, but then the wastegate can i had operating it seized up)
maybe i will play around with some LOL once i get my 10mm pump built..
i need more fuel bad, i only make ~1200* @ full pedal.. (about 38psi)
