I have gone to a digital gauge setup from auber instruments, as it has an external warning relay that you can set at whatever temp you want(I will be using it to switch my water/meth sprayer) and is very reasonably priced as wellcan be found at auberins.comthey also sell temperature gauges and senders for all sorts of things like water temp/trans temp/intake air temp etc...-Owen
enough boost is when you have 3 dimple marks in the hood from the valve cover nuts..
QUALITY ?Mcnallyelectronics.comInstallation of the oil psi /Oil temp Gauge was a simple with there kit for the oil filter adapter assy.Egt /Boost : same drill tapVolt/ water temp: lead to the battery and Temp senderTotal cost 785.00 for all three with the installation kitGB
I would too, but wondered if 300 was high enough for intake temp after the turbo.
Well yes just wondering if you thought it would get past 300. I'm running 20psi T3 non intercooled. I know i know. Maybe thats why i can get 1600 EGTs easily . Intercooler is going on soon. I have been meaning to install an intake temp gauge before i intercool it to see how much it helps. If i did the math correct assuming 70-75% compressor efficiency my t3 pushing 20-22psi is putting somewhere around 278-293F outlet temp! If i can get a intercooler with about 70-75% efficiency i could bring my intake temps down to about 123F.Sorry back to the OP topic.
