then what are you waiting for? get that stuff put on there and running with the n/a pump and injectors. i had a n/a pump and injectors on my rabbit for a long time before i actually swapped in my rebuilt TD pump.

for the fuel tank? i would highly doubt it. you will need to take the restrictor out of the fill neck tho.
and yea, the 2056 is a good unit. theres a few people on here running them i think.

if i use the gas sending unit, do i need another fuel pump in conjunction with it, or will the in-tank pump do the job?

These diesel's don't even have an in tank fuel pump, the lift pump is built into the injector pump.

You could run the k26 but it will spool very late. If you're got a gasser trans then you will pretty much redline by the time the k26 starts spooling. I don't know much about the 2056 but it's got a t25 flange so you will need to fab a custom one or get a t3 manifold and an ebay t3/t25 adapter. I'm not sure, but I can't see the Audi manifold fitting the VW head.

You don't need a intank pump, maybe just disable it.

so i can disable the intank pump, and the engine will still run?
