wastegate vac can is seperated..

the can that has lines running to it has come apart...? my question is what do i use as a replacement, & what can I use to up my boost pressur closer to 14-19psi. im totally stumped here..

If it's not a VNT then it's a boost "can". VNT's use the vacuum can. You could try putting it back together, assuming it came apart at the crimp. You'd need to seal it and put some type of external clamp to hold it together.

Yes its the "boost" can. Im more interested in eliminating this altogether as it seems a bit hokey to begin with. Ive read & searched but im looking for another option that will allow me to raise & have adjustable boost, without replacing the turbo because the vehicle only has 100k miles...

If you want to adjust and control your boost you will need the can.

sooo, do i just rebuild the can with a stiffer spring? please elaborate..tia
