I've asked in one chat room, and one VW guru I've talked to said to order the parts (including flywheel) for a 2002 Cabrio... except he also thought that there was just one 020 input shaft (because of there being only one alignment tool? :? But there's more than one alignment tool, and there's more than one shaft.)
What input shaft does a stock AAZ car have, anyway? 22 or 24mm?
He also said that it's a total crapshoot what flywheel is actually going to be in the car, and that you couldn't really tell even with the trans off. (I thought there was only 1 or 2 pin flywheels?)
Unfortunately, ETKA just makes things more confusing...
Keep in mind, I'm in Ohio, so I'd really prefer to buy this stuff from a US seller. And, not the dealer (or World Impex, or 1stVWParts, or any place like that,) please, unless I have to. AutohausAZ didn't like ETKA's part number for the AAZ clutch, and they're who I normally go through. (They're a WorldPac seller, so if someone's got a WorldPac item number, that will work great.)
I'm not opposed to buying a new flywheel if I have to.
(No, I don't own this car. No, it's not for sale. Yes, if/when it's for sale, I plan on owning this car.)
