Author Topic: Going to get my Caddy! Loooong drive. (Read 6400 times)

Bought my plane ticket, and I will be landing in Seattle on the 23rd to pick up my rust free Caddy for the long drive home. Seattle to Maine.
I have also found two more that I would love to buy, but cant figure out how to get three of them home. I may tow one, but that still leaves me short. Anyone here live near Seattle?

Looks like I will be taking I-90 east for most of the drive. I am picking the truck up at the airport. The other two I am looking at are about 30 min south in olympia. Might need to try and find a good used tow dolly. Anyone have a good lead on one in the area?

Orange glow plugs :lol:

It's a gasser for now. It is not the original motor, This one was swapped in a few years ago with 80K on it.

To drop in a MK2 NA or TD I just need to swap the motor mounts right?

Just tragic,...

put some weight in the back if you are going to tow with this thing.
I've heard of folks pulling stuff out of the towed vehicle to put in the towing vehicle... for 2 reasons:
Rear car weighs less, towing car weighs more.
