Bought my plane ticket, and I will be landing in Seattle on the 23rd to pick up my rust free Caddy for the long drive home. Seattle to Maine.
I have also found two more that I would love to buy, but cant figure out how to get three of them home. I may tow one, but that still leaves me short. Anyone here live near Seattle?

Orange glow plugs
It's a gasser for now. It is not the original motor, This one was swapped in a few years ago with 80K on it.
To drop in a MK2 NA or TD I just need to swap the motor mounts right?

Not sure where it is, but I will be going to look at a second caddy on Kaiser road in olympia. Guy said it was about 30 min south of the airport.
Send me your contact info. Perhaps we can work something out.
Just noticed the radio in my picture. Is that still the stock unit!

I saw this on the vortex today:
http://forums.vwvortex.com/zerothread?id=3022022 Just tragic,...
put some weight in the back if you are going to tow with this thing.
I've heard of folks pulling stuff out of the towed vehicle to put in the towing vehicle... for 2 reasons:
Rear car weighs less, towing car weighs more.
