well i noticed that vw put 367R&P on 1.9TD motor trannys and my FF tranny has 389R&P in it and it feels like a dog but crusis good on the freeway
367 were mostly used on gassers ?
i'm gonna change my tranny soon and want to do 2nd gear burn outs!
you seem to rip around pretty good?

my first gear is almost useless too, and I have as big a tire as you can put on a 13 inch rim.
I would look into a new tranny, but I want to get bigger tires, which will solve the problem,

BTW, does anyone make new r&p in different sizes that fir the o2o tranny?
