i hope you could shave a second off, my jetta used to do 16.2 with a slippy clutch, only mods being a cone filter, 25psi, 2.25 exhaust and stock cast downpipe, and obviously my fueling was turned up. hoepfully when i get it back this will be improved.
also you probably are hitting 40psi or so, hillfolk used to run that on his old 1.6td, and he used to run it on his tdi-m until the turbine wheel shot out the downpipe

garret T3 with blocked waste gate 40-50psi
A T3 can't push 40-50 psi. At those levels of boost the head wouldn't stick on the block for long.
well tbh im just guessing, my gauge only goes up to 30, and it shoots off the gauge in about 2 seconds increadibly fast, the actuator is totaly disconected, it seems to be ok i dont go full thottle for more than a few seconds just to be safe. i was under the impression that the more fuel i throw in the more boost i get and theres certainly plenty of fuel.
if anyone knows how much boost im hitting with my fuel mods id be interested. i still recon around 40+
i would bet on 40 psi. hey rich you should try setting up a hillfolk style water injection system
post compressor wheel is recommended though  .

A MK3 stock VR6 that normally make around hight 14s 15s low on the 1/4, for 145-150WHP VR6.
You have some wheel spin but I estimate you have around 120-130maxWHP ........ no smoke It's cool!!
AAZ after 4500rpm the power starts to fall, a bit better reving than 1.9TDI.

not sure what my tranny code is, its off a 1Z.
i admit, i did catch the vr with his pants down, but then im pretty sure i cud of done alot better than that too, 16.4 is 16valve territory, this was my first time down the strip, having spoke to a few people that race alot aparently it will take about 20 runs to get my best time, i think i can match a vr for horse power for the first 100 yards but then i run out of puff, possibly down to my stupid small wheels. i think if i got my shifting right, sum slicks and an intercooler i cud run low 15s with a little practice
heres sum more vids,
my mate in his dads 350bhp mk5 18t

f'kin eh!!! that fire video is whack!!! i love it ! beating a vr6 with a loaded down truck... totally awesome!!!
instead of going intercooler i HIGHLY suggest you try water injection. some people use those systems to water produce at the grocery store... apparently the misting nozzle is perfect for spray! just need to find a pump somewhere. the 50/50 windshield washer fluid is pretty cheap and should give some good gains.

thanx glad you guys like it
what is water injection? ive heard of it but never given any time to find out exactly what it entails. i thort it was like a charge cooler. im quite possible gona giv NOS a go, so cud definatly do with sumthin to cool things down

water injection is used as a air charge cooler, as well as some other performance boosting qualities.
if you are going to use nitrous don't worry about charge cooling as the nitrous will do that just as effectively.
the reason most people ego with water instead of NO2 is that it is much cheaper to build a kit and way cheaper to refill the bottle.
