Hi diesel freaks

.
After having an accident with my other MK2 and selling my TDI i bought this little Jetta. It was already equipped with a AAZ.
When i bought it :

The intercoole was really "custom" fitted

Since the motor was stock (except intercooler, more fuel on pump and k24). I decide to put my AAZ that was in my other MK2 that had a 11mm pump and a k24 with no crank probleme.
First, i had to take the motor out of the other Jetta :

I didn't really have time to repaint every thing and get every thing perfectly clean because the motor was going into my daily and y had already sold my other car so ... i just tried to clean it and paint a couple parts. I also bought a 97 TD tranny with new seals to replace my 1.6 tranny.

And now where the old Jetta is resting

On a trailer.
Now time to instal the motor in my "Big Red"

I installed my badgeless grill and my winter tires. And here she is now :

I love the power. Running about 20psi with the k24 and the 11mm with almost no smoke cuz my injectors are old and cant take the extra fuel. Cant wait for spring to install my intercooler, Mercedez injecteurs and open that pump  . That will probably be it for the motor part. Other mods will only be estetic, install my cup-kit and some nice wheels and that will be it.
Tell me what you think
sweeeet!

Hows the 11mm pump? Was there a large improvement while maintaining stock settings?Im installing a 10mm ,so just wondering what the powers like out the gate.Could you in fact turn your pump down(fuel screw)to return to stock fueling?I also wonder about the lag with the IC.Is it noticable?Sorry about the questions, just curious.
nice
i love the intercooler, should have kept it

Well, just to give you an idea. When i bought the car it was running on a 9mm stock pump with the fueling up,k24 at 15psi and the intercooler. It pretty good. Now i have 11mm with about stock fueling, k24 at about 20psi, no intercooler and it pulls about the same as with the oter motor. So i cant wait to up that fuel a put the intercooler  For lag, well sins the intercooler is in the rad support, there is not a lot of piping compared to a FMIC so less lag. There wasen't any noticable lag.
nice
i love the intercooler, should have kept it
Don't worry, its going back there when ill have a little spare time. I will properly cut the rad support and try to lower my rad so i can keep the rad support in better shape. I'll also put some real silicone ''elbows'' to replace those prestone ones
i have virtually the same car, wierd. it looks like you use almost as much IC pipe as my front mount. i run a k14 though with 15 lbs and a healthy amount of fuel and it is pretty fun, not much lag in the k14 but 2-3 lb loss of boost through cooler setup. ill try to get some pics up.
Ok friends, spring is here, time ton boost the beast a little more

I have : 11mm, K24(25psi),Mercedez Injectors and FMIC. What would be the next mod tu do to my machine

Need your help.
Thanks

Maybe governor mod? I know this applies to 1.6td's , but i haven't heard of any 1.9's doing a governor mod.... Or am i wrong?
