i have an AAZ and i dont know the tranny but i do know that its pretty good on highway if that helps anyone, 118-120KM/H its at 3000 RPM
i know my clutch is slipping as if i just mat it it does more revin then spinning, who know how long the clutch has been in there so when i do it i want to upgrade,,,
what can i upgrade to without ANY mods
just a direct swap, is there any,,,,
anyways does have any guesses for what the HP i might be with 1.9TD bored 1mm over fuel turned up 1/8turn, 1.6 boost pin and that pump advance mod done? and 2.5 exhust cat back

Bully make clutches for our MK3 diesels

direct swap no hassles and can take the torque
G60 flywheel / VR6 clutch & pressure plate is a bolt in upgrade with stock VW parts. Make sure you have TDC marked on the flywheel before installation, and don't bother with a lightened flywheel, I'm told it doesn't work that well with a diesel.
Our diesels have higher acceleration / deceleration forces as the crank rotated than a gas burner as we have 3x the compression ratio. Keep the stock flywheel and you'll see less vibration. This is part of what made things interesting for Subaru to develop the first Boxster diesel.
Subaru has a diesel boxer motor? Is it new or old? Any more info would be nice!
