i dont have a pic of one taken apart, but i have a diagram in a tech manual. ill snap a pic of it later after i locate the book, then locate the page in the book.

That would be sweet. Also if there is any difference between the gas one and the diesel one would be good to know. Depending on what they look like I may be able to make one or a bunch out of billet since my friend has a machine shop. He would do me right since I sell him all his fasteners and we bench race everytime I am in there  :) That and the fact that he said as long as he was making shop rate he would turn toilet handles for all he cared. But just to know what it is should be enough to satisfy my curiousity.

Thanks for the puck...now I am curious. Do these things come apart? What do they look like on the inside. I am interested in seeing one now and knowing how they work. Anyone have a pic of this thing apart?


It probably has some synthetic mesh inside, like the breather on a gasser. The white stuff that looks like a really thick scotchbrite pad, but white.

no... theres nothing in them, just some walls, separators, and a little diaphragm. i guess its supposed to act like a one way valve. but it has a SUPER WEAK spring, so it doesnt have to have much air pressure to open it up and let the gasses get out.
