All the 1.9s had oilers if I'm not mistaken.Andrew
Depends on where it came from. If it was from a car then they are the same. If you can find a later production industrial engine then use that. It will have piston oilers and the better TDI crank pulley.

so did vw put inferior parts in the N/A motor??? maybe different part number, but same part sort of like the 1.6N/A & TD dispute?
