45 trim t3/t4?
« on: November 26, 2007, 01:51:31 pm »
going to go with a bigger turbo on my diesel... wondering if a 45trim t3/t4 /w .48 and stg1 wheel will be too big...

it will have a giles pump so i have 5k rpm to play with, i'd like to be at least seeing a few psi by 3k rpm, looking to boost 25psi

the 3 turbo's ive had in mind are a t3 .60 on the small side, super 60 and 45trim t3/t4...

oh the choices

you are going to need a ball bearing turbo. Dont waste money on buying a turbo if its not ball bearing. My GT25r sits on my toolbox yelling at me everyday.

If you don't want to dish out the bling for a BB turbo than go with .48 ar on the turbine, sgt 1 wheel and a t3 compressor, .42 ar and either a 45 or 50 trim.
