• Yeah I ended up taking it out anyway.. Had to do a clutch.. But I'd like to have it properly flushed and filled with better fluid.

• I don't think there is a more "proper" flush then out with the old, in with the new. I suppose you could change it again after a couple hundred kms if you were really ambitious.

• The only reason I even want to do that is because it sat for 5 years and then I drove it for a while and changed it when I had the trans out.. But the trans has well over 700k kms on it... So I was thinking an extra "flush" if you will would be a good thing.

  I found after I was done that My dad had a welded tool, made from a nut and some flat steel, for his dune buggy.  Such is life :p
