Looks nice but cold in the winter. When I bought my first Golf, it had a custom machined aluminum knob, and it was no fun grabbing it the first thing on a cold winter morning.

That is sexy lol

I'm use to the wal mart 12$ shifter my gf got me for my first golf lol. I usually cut the shifter rod down about 2 inches lol.

This made me laugh, I have never had this problem, but when I had my R32 the shift knob would get so hot in the summer that I could barely touch it. That's saying something too because I was working as a chef at the time and I could tolerate some heat.

GFs/wives are very missunderstanding people. My wife just can't understand why all the money MUST be spent on my Caddy. She also couldn't understand why anyone would spend weeks refinishing a 28-year-old Jaguar wooden wheel to put in a Volkswagen.

Don't try to explain, just install the sticker that I did.

To put this straight, I never once said I married the "wrong" one. I've been married almost 40 years and I'd do it all again with the same woman. In fact, if I had one that loved cars, I'd be very suspicious.
