I was quoted $120 each for reman 1.9TD two spring injectors by several bosch fuel injection shops. Not what I would call a bargain.
I'm real happy with my "Smog" GTD/1.9TD hybrid injectors. I retarded the timing a bit and the noise quieted down somewhat. Didn't hurt the power much, it'll still fry the clutch...

This place has them for $36 plus $10 core charge, listed under Audi 2.0L TD, same injector right?

same injector right?
Nope. The audi 2.0TD is a 5cyl that uses 1.6TD components, including injectors.
Real 1.9TD two spring injectors are spendy. I have researched this at length, you cannot get them from the aftermarket...

I've got an early 1993 Passat 1.9 TD, the one with the "ecodiesel" fuel
pump with no aneroid.
My problem is, the injectors are different as well, with a different nozzle
#. The tech who took them apart today said the nozzle was #0434250 159,
and that the injector was a single stage model.
Which nozzle would be appropriate to purchase here?

the AAZ (1.9td) nozzles will do the trick; they can go on single stage injectors also

Then the early 1993 Passat 1.9 AAZ TD's have not only the fuel pump less
the aneroid, but also the single stage injectors, with a weird nozzle inside.
I knew there's a reason it seems sluggish, and gets relatively poor mileage.
Anyone have a 1.9 pump with aneroid they'd like to unload?
I'll be installing the regular 1.9 AAZ dual stage nozzles in the single stage injectors
on the car next week and we'll see how that turns out.

you can keep the single stage injectors with a real 1.9td pump; no problem with that setup. I think you can swap a 1.6td pump top to your pump but I'm not sure.

Got the nozzles installed and the injector's rebuilt by Jim's Fuel Injection in
Vancouver. Nice work, cheap ($80 for all four), and fast turnaround.
Installed in the car, it runs much, much better. Smoother, slightly more power.
Looks like the regular 1.9 nozzles are a good fit for the Passat Eco-diesel.
Thanks!

I only sell the GTD nozzles and you will have to ask your local diesel specialist to install them and pop-test your own injectors.
for you it's 85$us shipping included; and I ask for paypal
