Wanted: Water Separator under A2 Jetta, near fuel tank

I need to replace the water separator under my 1985 Jetta. (the plastic tank underneath, near the fuel tank) .  Anyone have one for sale, trade...
A2 diesel.

Broke off the water drain cap?
 The Rabbit's didn't have one of these, and I heard the A3s didn't have one.
 I think you can just remove it and bypass it... if you can't find one.
 Good time to get rid of that check valve near it, I've seen a few people who had to remove that check valve because of the fuel line restriction it caused.... of course fuel can syphen back to the tank if you have any leaks.

Just get rid of it.
Like fatmobile said, the mk1s don't have it and neither do the mk3s. It's a useless piece. Just drain your fuel filter in the engine bay on a regular basis (once or twice a year) and you'll be fine.
