My Garret turbo has two lines coming from it to the waste gate. One is a small line infront of the turbo inlet where the intake boot connects. And a larger line that comes from the top of the turbo on the side that goes to the intake manifold.
Do I disconnect the small line and plug it off and install the boost control on the large line? What is the small line for? It does not show the small line in the shop manual.
Any ideals?

?
Thanks
The big line is the one you want to either plug off or use a boost controler on.The smaller line acts as a bleed and pervents oil from pooling up in the wastegate.
i just put a small lawnmower inline fuel filter on the small line instead of hooking it back up to the inlet
then i plugged the hole on the inlet.....
the large hose stubis for the controller,,follow it up the the compressor "snail",,its the "boost reference line" splice in between it to add a controller
