AN fittings = what std/metric sizes

Does any one know what size the AN's convert to?
an3=?
an4=?
an5=?
an6=?
an7=?
an8=?
an9=?
an10=?

AN (and closely related JIC) fittings were designed for connecting flared steel hydraulic tubing and the sizes correspond to the steel tube sizes in 16ths.  An 8 AN or JIC is 8/16ths or 1/2" OD tube, a 12 AN or JIC is 12/16ths or 3/4" OD tube.
