The governor mod in the fuel injection pump
« on: April 03, 2007, 02:55:18 pm »
I have turned in the fuel quantity screw on the side of the injection pump to increase fuel delivery, (step 12) but I cannot find any instruction for the "governor mod" described in the article (step #11) http://www.vwdiesel.net/phpBB/viewtopic.php?t=4391

I have an interesting setup and I need more power.

I have already installed 2" exhaust to the tail and installed a a VW FI intake for better flow http://picasaweb.google.com/jeremiahprickett/Intake/photo#5049323239169073154

Besides a turbo and nitro I am looking for more fuel delivery mods for now. Any ideas about this governor mod?

Thank you

jeremp: Did you make that adapter for the gasser intake? It looks good, I'm going to be installing one in my car and have been pindering how to make one. That justlooks like exhaust tube and a really nice machined flange.
