how much performance will putting a stock 1.9td head on a 1.6td add? and how about the cons? the engine will eventually be running many other mods as cash slowly drips down to me. such as new cam, exhaust, pump, nozzles, etc.
thanks

as long as you run 100% stock settings, you will not have no any hp, maybe the turbo spools up a little faster.
if you gonna tune the pump and planning a bigger turbo, i advise you to put that 1.9 head on your 1.6 block

in a nutshell, putting a 1.9 head on a 1.6 block gives better airflow, but lowers cr so you get rougher cold starts.
better airflow is the basis for more power, but to achieve more power you need more fuel. more air allows you to run more fuel

so is crazy boost
with fuel you need boost or melt some pistons out but yes fuel is a huge part of performance.
