well i have done some long runs at 160 and once dr.diesel took it to 195 and hung around there for a while. my car has the stock transmission so you could imagine the kind of rpms it was turning.
haha. stock i think 160 is about all a person can do in a td.
well thats all i can do
well to be honest if i hold it floored i can get to about 165..
and if the wind is at my back and im going down hill i can get it up to like 170-175'ish.

i;ve done 105, and 110 would have been at the flick of my foot, but this would have put me at about 4500, and i really didn't like going that fast so i slowed down

the ones i mentioned were in kilometers. so i dont want to give the impression that my td going 175mph down hill LOL
yeah, that would be the real speed with a 70hp TD Mk2. Although I've passed over 180Km/h (speedometer read). Horizontal road.
I wish te automatic had a taller 4th gear
I cruise 90km/h@2000rpm
That's a lower RPM then what I cruise at with my 4S. I think it's around 2500
