My engine is getting better all the time... New valve cover, timing belt cover painted, 3 bottles of Simple Green... Just maybe some more paint on some other things and maybe a few more new parts and it will be nice..

Clean is good.  Rust is bad - I hate looking at strut towers like that.

just be careful driving in the winter now. i bet the strut towers are still as nice as they appear in part due to the greasy protection they have had all those years.

Nice?  You see that rust perforation line around the drivers side reinforcement?  That is bad.

Come to Colorado.  No salt.  Nice.  Grew up in Iowa.  Lots of salt.  Bad.

Thanks it is the original paint over most of the car just the pass. side has been touched up between the trim and the vinyl pin stripes... Also the back drivers side has been punched and fixed before I owned it...

I know the rust is bad and I am planning on fixin' it up all proper but it will prob. take me quite awhile to fix all the rust that's why I'm just driving it for now... Went to MVOC this weekend I don't think I'm going to be getting to Colorado any time soon... Here is a pic from the show...

Looks like a cool place to hang out.  Yeah, get the rust as soon as possible - it only gets worse, and fast.  Keep plugging away!
