I finally got around to rebuilding a couple proportioning valves, using the dodge proportioning valve seal set.
The only seals that didn't fit were the seals inside the 2, screw-on caps.
There is an o-ring on the inside of the cap that the "piston" rides in.
The 2 seals in the kit were too thick.
I got them into the caps but the pistons wouldn't slide through.

Now on to trying to get the old one off the car.
They sure tucked that down in there.
Got the bottom 2 line nuts loose, but the top ones aren't moving.
I'll probably disconnect the lines from the master cylinder,
pull the old valve out, lines and all, so I have better access to the line nuts.

That's what I do.  Pull that sucker outta there.  Who can even work in that spot?  Very strange place to put that piece.  I get the lines off the MC, plug them as they come off, and then get the valve out.  If you have the lower nuts to come off, that would be great.  Sometimes I just cut the lines off and reflare them or replace them.
