metal bits will start entering your engine.
Only if the intake wheel is the one that goes though, right? If the exhaust turbine is the only one that grenades, I don't think you'll get any bits in the engine.

I've ran what I though was a good condition k24 up to 27 psi without any issues, big deal right.Well I had to take the turbo apart to rotate the housing for my twins setup. This is when I found the turbine wheel to be almost totally destroyed on the outer fin tips where the Exhaust enters the wheel (this damage could only be seen by removing the turbine housing). This happened when large peices of a precup went through the turbo. This turbo in its unbalanced condition pushing 27 psi showed no signs of play in/out,up/down.I guess these bigger turbos are more forgiving than an out of balance k03 or vnt15.

Basically from what I see in that pic above the damage is nothing when compared to mine.

I'll see If I can find it to take a pis and post it.

However seeing that somthing has made it through that wheel, who's to say that there isn't more damage inside the housing (on the wheel). With the housing and wheel being close together particles could have wedged between the two;like my case only the other end of the turbo:lol:?
