Looking to replace P.O.s t3 with another turbocharger capable of 10-15PSI of boost, low exhaust restrictions and spool at lower end of the power band. Intent is stripped out daily mk1 rabbit for commuting and fun and not racing. Would love to be able to break the wheels loose but not power hungry. Running custom exhaust manifold with t3 flange and gasser intake
Current turbo has no shaftplay but probably has blown seal and wastegate flapper arm has been tacked closed and actuator removed so it's either new turbo or external wastegate and hope for the best.
Don't know if you would be interested in a VNT, but i have one for sale with a functioning mechanical linkage system that is included. If you aren't running lots of fueling like i am you won't have the same issues i am with the vanes sticking. At least not as bad anyways. Here is the link PM if you are interested.
