I have a later style hydro lifter 1.6 idi na diesel engine for sale. This was in my old daily driver, and drove very well. Mileage is unknown, but was getting a steady low 40s. The engine was very dry, with only a small seep at the valve cover (where the manifolds are) and a small tiny oil pan seep, very small. The rest of the block/head didn't have any leaks, and these concern areas are very cheap and did not even hit the ground (just wanted to let them know).
The ip is an NA pump, that is currently unbolted off the engine. If the engine is going into a mk2, it will need a mk2 pump bracket, but if into a mk1, I have a perfect pump bracket for it.
Right now, the engine is more or less a longblock. Its the head/block, various coolant flanges, IP. There aren't any manifolds, accessories, etc. (swapping the k14 setup to daily in the spring). Looking for 220$ picked up.
I also have a diesel coded 020 trans that would be best for a rebuild. All gears worked, but there were only two issues (that could have just been due to a linkage issue). First is, the shift lever did not have to be pushed down to engage 1st, it was engaged by a swift 1st gear range shift (got the car like that). And the second is, the car started to pop out of 5th gear going over 70+mph. Anything below that it stayed in gear. It could really just have been as simple as a linkage issue, but likewise I just wanted to mention it.
Im looking for 100$ picked up for the trans.
Or 250$ for tranny and longblock
