AAZ, FMIC, custom pump etc.

Can I use the old manifoild or do I need a custom one??

Yea its bigger, but I was more into a new more modern fast spooling unit....and maybe even bigger than the K24.

Are there any difference in size of the K24 diesel turbos?

The only thing that is generally the same between all models of a turbocharger family (including the KKK K24 family) is the major diameter of the turbine wheel.  Almost always, other significant factors will vary between models in the family, such as various aspects of the compressor wheel and compressor housing design, the turbine wheel minor diameter, the turbine housing, including the A/R ratios.  Sometimes even the turbo bearing design and bearing housing can be different between models within the same turbocharger family.

The VW 1.6lTD turbo models have a special turbine housing with a unique, trapezoidal style turbine inlet flange and bolt pattern, for example.
