This style is a train wreck,  I like to view most recent topic first and not have to scroll down the page to do so.  Can't find profile, Icons need ID or pop outs.  Yada Yada.   Not looking good to me.  And I like the color yellow.  Just not this color.  I do like white text behind color however.  Works better in low light situations where I tend to find myself most of the times.

If you really think a change is necessary, I think this ( http://familycow.proboards.com/ ) is one of my favourite forums to use. Both the mobile and normal modes are very simple to operate.

That said I really like the current format as well. I understand that upgrades are needed in order to keep current and all that but I think that last one was way too much, way too fast.

Did you test it on mobile before making changes? It is not useable for me the way it is. What are you trying to do?

I think the banner ads might be messing up the mobile theme in this version

I don't want a mobile theme. I like mobile to have the same features as the desktop theme, like before the change.

I found the previous version fully functional in every way.  What improvement are you trying to make?  Change just for the sake of change is not a good thing.

Color = way less eyes bleed.

As far as mobile goes, this seems great with chrome/ droid, doesn't lag nearly as bad as some others.
I also am not seeing ads on the phone.

I'm trying to have one consistent look with the forum and the blog and other pages. It is easier to find a decent theme for a forum and make a complimentary theme from scratch in wordpress than it is to try to make something in SMF. I'm trying to make everything look/function better and working good so I can start working on producing more content and adding to the page and forum.
