I think the forum and blog are going to go through some changes to try to make them look better and more consistent here in the future. Just depends on how it works out.

the yellow is totally ew, and to make a real logical argument against it, it is very hard to read the yellow lettering, also the buttons with white lettering in the yellow.  plus i hate the color ew.

It's pretty hard to follow threads with this theme.  There's TONS of empty space between posts, that makes for a lot of scrolling.

More changes are coming. Don't worry. It will get better. I'm trying to get a better look to the forum an site and draw it into one consistent look. We will have it working better soon.

As always don't be afraid to tell me what sucks about the new design so I can see what I can do to make it better. The default color on this theme was yellow.

At the upper right, there is a button  which promises to take you  to the 'vwdiedel blog', but  white on mustard it isn't that noticeable.

99% of all cars, bikes, and forums should not be yellow. This is one of the 99%

Gimpster,
Please get rid of the YELLOW. It sucks and is hard to read.

I have never understood the compulsion by twidgets to "make things better" by putting in more bells and whistles. This forum took a hit with the last set of big changes. I always liked having posts about things that were outside of my area of interest. I could always just scroll past them, if I wanted, but after the big change we had many more choices of places to post things and 75% hadn't had a post in months.

Another round of "fancying up" VWDiesel may just kill it. People don't come here because of fancy graphics or odd colors or, so called, cool features. They come here for content and that is likely to suffer if the site is too much of a pain to use. Get rid of the adds somehow; they are exceptionally annoying. At the very least tone them down. They will likely drive me and many others away. This used to be a great list. Please don't screw it up trying to make it better.

Please remember that hot rodding VW diesels in a nitch market. Nobody is going to get rich or make this some kind of powerhouse site by attracting huge numbers of newcomers. All anybody can do is tinker with it a bit, (like making sure the posters location is shown) or they can ruin it.

And again, please get rid of the baby *** yellow.

Relax people, it's a default template.

They probably made bile-yellow the default color, so people would change it.

I have to admit, it's growing on me... like a flesh-eating bacteria.

I have a bigger problem with icons that aren't self evident, or buttons that are hidden until mouseover.

This is horrible, please go back to the last one ASAP until you find something better. On mobile it's utterly useless. Toby is right.
