Crank pulley bolts size

Hey I'm planning on doing a timing belt change tomorrow and I've got some stubborn bolts (hex cap) to remove off the pulley. Going to have to replace a few but once I start I won't have a vehicle. Anyone know the replacement size off the top of their head?

The pulley usually has socket head cap screws not hex head cap screws. Either way, if I understand your question, there were different crank pulleys for a/c and non a/c cars and probably a few other combinations. I have some that are only 20mm long or so and another that they are 45mm long. IIRC all are 8mm-1.25 pitch.

oops yeah I meant socket cap.. my bad.
20mm it is then! I'm replacing an ac pulley with a non ac pulley so that information is actually very helpful. Thanks guys!

Non AC also used the longer bolts but I think they are around 40mm long. I'm going off memory here though.
Some crank pulleys have a rubber dampener in them and use the 40mm (ish) long bolts. It also depends if you have a PS pulley on the crank as well.

Well I'm swapping a dual pulley (PS/ac? Idk.) For a single... So I'd assume less width = shorter bolts? What's behind the crank sprocket? How much room do I have before i start interfering with stuff?

Seal carrier is behind the sprocket. I can measure the space later today.
Holes in sprocket are 22.5mm deep (according to my friend Mitutoyo).

Can't get a good dimension... I rekon it's best to not protrude beyond the sprocket.
