Mileage is unknown - it was swapped in to the car already when I bought it 5 years ago. I've put 60,000km on it in the time I've had it without any issues. I'd describe it as "well loved" though - she uses a little oil, I usually add about 1/3L every 3rd or 4th fillup. I have always suspected the turbo more than anything. Timing belt / water pump / all oil seals on the timing belt side of the engine were replaced 30,000km ago. She's got the usual 1.6TD stuff - a bit of an oil weep around the block drain at the front.
The transmission it's attached to is DEAD - 020 self machining syndrome. Blew chunks out of the transmission case. It still is capable of moving the car but obviously it won't do that for more than a couple of km before it fails completely. So the transmission is worthless except maybe as a core or for its 5th gear or something (it is a CHD, the correct transmission for an AAZ in '94).
