As my TDI build is progressing I'm getting to the point where I can start thinking about selling off Jezebel's 1.6TD.
Engine is probably about a 1990 or so. Injection pump was replaced by the PO not long before I got her (about 5 years ago). Injectors were rebuilt by Giles last year, they should have about 10,000km on them. Turbo is a K24.

Mileage is unknown - it was swapped in to the car already when I bought it 5 years ago. I've put 60,000km on it in the time I've had it without any issues. I'd describe it as "well loved" though - she uses a little oil, I usually add about 1/3L every 3rd or 4th fillup. I have always suspected the turbo more than anything. Timing belt / water pump / all oil seals on the timing belt side of the engine were replaced 30,000km ago. She's got the usual 1.6TD stuff - a bit of an oil weep around the block drain at the front.
The transmission it's attached to is DEAD - 020 self machining syndrome. Blew chunks out of the transmission case. It still is capable of moving the car but obviously it won't do that for more than a couple of km before it fails completely. So the transmission is worthless except maybe as a core or for its 5th gear or something (it is a CHD, the correct transmission for an AAZ in '94).

I'm asking $850 for the complete engine. Hoping to find someone in the Greater Vancouver area that wants it - I'm not really that interested in shipping it as I don't have any way to transport it to a freight company at present.
If I don't get any bites after a few weeks then I'll be parting it out. The IP and injectors are in awesome shape, as mentioned the injectors are Giles rebuilds that don't really have all that much mileage on them (drove to California and back with them but they weren't in service for even a year before the transmission went). Pump is great, has a minor gov mod so it pulls up to about 4750 RPM. Turbo is a K24, has been providing me with a solid 24 PSI for a good long while without any issues whatsoever.
