There is a surprising amount of volume on some of these engines going through that tube.. So tale that in to affect. If you under size it you will cause pressure in the crank case.. and oil will start puking from places it should not.
I recently removed my blowby setup. I picked up on a Volvo unit and had it plumbed into the VC and then down to a secondary catch can so I could easily empty any oil I was pulling out of the system. I only ran it for a while then the rings just gave up on the #3 cylinder so I pulled the head and did the proper repair. So I have that catcher if you want to offer on it. Do me a PM and maybe we can set up something. I surely don't need it anymore.DAS
Im uneducated why a catch can?
I'm not quite done yet, but on an AAZ, a line from a fabbed fitting on the bottom of the crankcase breather up to a tee on this on the VC Then on over to this on the drivers side strutt towerI'm actually just waiting for the Russell's stainless braided with blue AN fittings in 5/8 hose size.
