how big does it need to be people.... fact the tools required to strip, rebuild a vw will fit in a paper bag... the list...
----------------note on sockets.. do one set shallow, other deep... if room is issue.. once you break bolt free.. use other size tool i tend to do deep 3/8 and shallow 1/4 for room thoughts.. if i can fiut 3/8 to that.. 1/4 no prob.. but other way round..

8mm xzn for axle bolts.. newer axels 10mm xzn, 14mm xzn for mk5 rear brakes.. 12mm xzn for head bolts.... pick and choose.. but none take up much room..
adapter set for 3/8 to 1/2 so on..
