Convertibles suck. Lets go sit in the blazing hot sun for hours on end. Yeah... right.

Up here good, clean examples will fetch 3000+ during the spring/summer. There aren't many of them around.

I paid $150 for mine, and that was because it had a 16v in it. It had more duct tape than sheet metal.

Haha so true ! But the wife said "you know id look awful cute in one of those" and I was tempted for a minute haha.

Tyler You have a cabby ? Is that a new addition ?

Why not let the market decide its value?  Putting it on eBay with a low start price and no reserve should give a clear picture of exactly how much someone is willing to spend.

my gf has been driving one for 3-4 years now, it was not in the greatest shape when we bought it and its not in that great of shape now, but its been a super reliable car that has never left her down and has only needed minimal maintenance to get her back and forth to work.  i thought she would probably only be driving it for a year or 2 but its still going.

No I had it 3 years ago or so. Never plated it. It would never pass inspection.

Diesels and cabbys go well together.

Not a bad idea! I'll run this by the owner!

Well fair enough. I'm still amazed sometimes when my 2006 legacy fails inspection but my 84 rabbit slides by haha.

Isn't there a member here who has a diesel cabby ?

Yeah I was hoping I'd get something like that out of this. But I think I could find a better condition one for cheaper...
